  • [Confirmed] Juggernaut Healing Ward Collision

    Summary:
Juggernaut's healing ward has no collision in DotA 2, whereas it has collision and can be used to block in DotA 1 (making it harder to target and destroy as well, as it can just be hidden underneath other units)

    Repro:
    1) Level up and cast healing ward
    2) Attempt to walk through it

    Result:
You can walk freely through the ward

    Expected:
There should be collision, disallowing passage through it

    It's intended.

Not everything from DotA 1 is good to port. Makes for better gameplay if a juggernaut is capable of microing the ward instead of having it trapped inside of tons of units.

And this is only for units, not trees, etc. Ergo, not a bug.

Then why does it have collision in dota 1? It would be easy enough to remove, like with courier in dota 1 having no collision...

It makes the ward harder to target, and therefore more powerful than previously so I'm not as sure that it's intended.

Do you realy need to raise up an 4 month old already confirmed post for this?
If you think I've closed or deleted a post unjustified, feel free to PM me and I'll explain it to you/discuss it with you further.

^ +1 Or we could post it on Reddit since devs seems to have it like more official bug site than the forums in here...

No dev will ever fix something because the thread is pushed. Do you realy think they do this by hand? Checking the threads? Realy?
IF they use something, then the confirmed list, and it's up there...
