[Confirmed] Dropping items on the ground

When trying to drop a item on the ground or under yourself it commands it to give yourself the item or attempt to give the creep the item that is impossible. the item should be placed under the designated spot rather then stay on the hero. becomes problamation around high cluster roshan situations with full inv of items.

sorry i believe you can drop underneath your own hero model. roshans hitbox is quite big and i must have been dropping the item on him. none the less it should still drop on the ground for creeps/enemies

also hows this not confirmed. drop a item on a creep anywhere or roshan at any given stage of any game and it will not drop the item. doubt this is intended either as the former reasons.

I think what's unconfirmed is wether or not this is a bug. I can confirm that in dota1, dropping an item on roshan drops it behind him like if you ground targetted. So I guess this is a bug.

Something similar happens when you are trying to drop your items on another item. The game says "Target can't take items".

Well, in a normal gameplay, you don't usually do that. There can be rare examples though...
But I do it very often as I test, and I just have to find individual places for each item to do it. It is annoying.

So this was fixed for dragging items on items. Does it really matter that much for dragging items on units?
