    In dota2 they will not attack, despite the attack order, while in dota1 they do

    I havn't tested, but we might have some similar issue with potm's ulty and riki (and mb slark when he will be released)

      Does that work with Lycan in dota 1 as well?

        This is not specific for the Spiderlings (Common Bugs List implies so)

        The attack-move-while-invisible mechanic is completely different on Dota 2.
        First, in DotA, only the invisible minions (tested with Lycan Wolves and Spiderlings) initiate combats when you order them to attack-move while invisible.
        Heroes (tested with Riki and Broodmother) do not initiate combats.
        These two things I have said above applies for every target.

        In Dota 2, every invisible unit behaves the same. But;
        if you try to attack ground to attack Neutral Creeps while you are invisible, you will fail,
        however, if you try to attack any other (attackable, of course) unit with attack-ground, your invisible unit will initiate a combat. (intended change, confirmed by IceFrog, somewhere... oh here)

        The first option ends up in fail, because EVERY unit ignores the neutral creeps when you order them to attack-ground.

        So, about the interaction between the invisible units attacking-ground, either there has never been an issue, or it has been fixed.

        However, the thing about attack-ground ignoring the Neutral Camps might be a bug.
        But I don't think that is a bug either, since the ignoring stops if you recently had a combat with that specific neutral camp. And "recently" is something like 3-5 seconds timeframe, delicately set. Looks intentional.

            PLEASE FIX. This isn't just for dota 1 parity, it's a really annoying mechanical bug that makes playing these heroes highly inconvenient.

              There is no 3-5 second timeframe that you speak of. ground attack only works on neutrals while they're aggressive. It's the same for default attacking like after using an ability.
