    I'm glad they've learned their lesson and aren't immediately adding Meepo into Captain's Mode.

    Definitely a great patch (though I don't think I'll like that pause change).

      This is bad.
      If anything I'd have made it harder for people to unpause. I've literally never seen people abusing pauses (outside of e-famous pubstars on streams using pauses to trashtalk), on the other hand managing to have a pause long enough for a dc'd player to come back is extremely hard in pubs. Now it'll be impossible if even a single opponent doesn't consent.

        Nice patch guys ^^ this is awesome, I've been playing with Meepo in WC3 because I've missed it :P.
        Great job on this patch (even the pause thing, it will be useful for troller pauses)

                And I don't get why punish chain-pausing when the issue stemmed from people unpausing immediately when someone disconnected.

                      It's a step in the right direction-- it forces people to get their shit together before joining a game. The mandatory chain-pause time at the start of every game is the main reason why I hate the 30 second pause time. If it happens in the middle of a game, I'll wait it out. From the getgo, it indicates that a person's connection is garbage, something they can rectify before the game starts.

                        Actually Dota 2 is a game with tons of bugs. Many people have issues with the game correctly loading and have to reconnect or restart Dota. throughout the game.

                          Valve said at the beginning of August (paraphrased): "We aren't releasing heroes until after the international to allow the teams to get used to the heroes that are currently available. Our team will continue to develop heroes internally even though they aren't being released."

                              revert to 30 or at least 20 seconds please. 5 seconds means you can annoy and even punish the enemy team when they happen to have a disconnected player. Sure waiting ingame often sucks, but playing without all players sucks even more.
