  • [Confirmed] Issues with test commands and Meepo

Not sure if this was actually introduced in this update, but it hampers testing. I spawned an enemy meepo, and tried to give him items. However, it gives him one of each item for every clone (but puts them on the main meepo).

    It was like that before.
I used to experience that when I was attempting to get Blink Dagger with -item item_blink.
I ended up with several daggers...
Not that so important, since it won't affect a non-cheat gameplay.

[Unconfirmed] Meepo gets multiple items when using cheats

      Summary:
when using cheat commands to give items to (cheated) meepos, he gets more than one item of it.

      Repro#1:
      1. spawn meepo (-createhero meepo)
      2. give meepo an aghanims scepter item (-givebots item_ultimate_scepter)

      Result:
      Meepo carries 2 scepters.

      Repro#2:
      1. Level divided we stand on meepo
      2. give meepo an aghanims scepter item (-givebots item_ultimate_scepter)

      Result:
      Meepo gets even more scepters.

Already reported, but that thread is now unavailable to most users:
        http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=59775

Basically the -givebots command tries to give each Meepo the item you mention, and the clones transfer their items to the main.
        Or something like that.

I do not think that this affects the gameplay by any means, but yeah, I confirm that this is happening.

This issue has been completely fixed for the Meepo that you pick at the beginning of the game.
-item item_blink, for example, gives Blink Dagger only to the main Meepo. And -givebots item_blink doesn't give anything to your clones. It has simply been fixed for the Meepo that you have initially picked.

When you -createhero meepo, however, there is a slight issue. I suggest trying this by re-creating a lobby, since multiple Meepos in game are still bugged.
It is really hard to explain. Just try it for yourself if you wonder...
