    Before I go on, I'd like to clarify two important glitches that have already been found.

    Glitch 1 - Last Word order.
    DotA 1 -> Spell, Silence, Damage.
    DotA 2 -> Damage, Spell, Silence.

    Glitch 2 - Last Word interaction with channeling.
    Dota 1 -> Doesn't apply until the channel is over.
    DotA 2 -> Applies after 6 seconds regardless of whether channeling is occurring or not.

    Fixed as of February 21, 2013.

    That being said, here are some further interactions that have been found to differ from Dota 1.

    Glitch 3 - Vision of non-visible channeling targets
    After the duration of Last Word on a channeling target, Silencer gains vision to the target if he becomes non-visible. Most noticeable on Sand King, but any Shadow blade channel will also be affected, as well as fog.

    Glitch 4 - Interchanneling Last Word
    If during a channeling spell Last Word is cast on a target, and the channel ends before Last Word ends, then Last Word will end along with it, with only silence and damage, instead of continuing on.

    Items:
    Diffusal Blade should not be able to purge Last Word.
    Black King Barshould not be able to dispel Last Word.
    Eul's Scepter of Divinity should not be able to dispel Last Word.

    Fixed as of February 21, 2013.

    Abaddon's Mist Coil, Aphotic Shield, and Borrowed Time

    Result: Mist Coil hits like so; Last Word first takes effect, then hits Silencer for damage, then hits Abaddon for damage.
    Aphotic Shield when cast on self does not absorb Last Word damage, and it does not silence Abbadon.
    Borrowed Time does not absorb Last Word damage, and it does not silence Abbadon.


    Expected: Mist Coil suffers from Glitch 1. Damage order should be like so; Mist coil hits Silencer for damage, then hits Abaddon for self damage, then Last Word takes effect.
    Aphotic Shield suffers from Glitch 1. It should first cast on Abaddon, Last Word damages the shield, then it should silence.
    Borrowed Time suffers from Glitch 1. It should first cast on Abaddon, Last Word damages (heals because of Borrowed Time) Abaddon, then silence Abaddon.
    Still exists as of July 6th, 2014.

    Alchemist's Unstable Concoction
    Result: The initial casting of Unstable Concoction silences Alchemist.
    Expected: The initial casting should not interact with Last Word at all.
    Still exists as of July 6th, 2014.

    Wisp's Tether
    Result: Casting the initial tether silences, and casting break tether causes Last Word to pause until another skill is casted.
    Expected: Casting the initial tether silences is OK, however casting break tether should have no interaction.

    Fixed as of April 5, 2013.

    Lone Druid's Spirit Bear
    Result: Last Word is castable on Spirit Bear.
    Expected: Last Word should not be castable on Spirit Bear.
    Still exists as of July 6th, 2014.

    Morphling's Morph and Replicate
    Results: Last Word does not silence when using Agility Morph/Strength Morph. This is an effect of how the skill behaves in Dota 2 when you press the skill button.
    Last Word silences when merging with a Replicate clone.


    Expected: Using Agility Morph/Strength Morph should silence Morphling. However, toggling should have no effect on Morphling.
    Merging with a Replicate clone should not silence Morphling.

    Still exists as of July 6th, 2014.

    Naga Siren's Song of the Siren
    Results: Song of the Siren cancel silences Naga Siren.
    Expected: Song of the Siren's cancel should not silence Naga Siren.
    Still exists as of July 6th, 2014.

    Templar Assassin's Trap
    Results: The alternate trap spell does not silence.
    Expected: The alternate trap spell should silence.
    Still exists as of July 6th, 2014.

    Spectre's Reality
    Results: Reality does not silence.
    Expected: Reality should be silenced.
    Still exists as of July 6th, 2014.

    Medusa's Split Shot
    Results: Last Word does not silence Medusa.
    Expected: Last Word should silence Medusa.
    Still exists as of July 6th, 2014.

    Puck's Ethereal Jaunt and Phase Shift
    Last Word is paused until another spell is casted Fixed as of May 31st, 2013.

    Results: If Phase Shift is ended any earlier than its max shift time, then Last Word will damage and silence. If Phase Shift is carried out to its maxiumum duration, Last Word will have no effect.
    Expected: Leaving Phase Shift (duration ends or you move) will cause Last Word to silence and damage you, no matter what.
    Still exists as of July 6th, 2014.

    Keeper of the Light's Recall
    Results: Using Recall pauses Last Word until the next spell.
    Expected: Last Word should silence Keeper of the Light without pausing.
    Still exists as of July 6th, 2014.

    Invoker's Invoke
    Results: Last Word silences Invoker.
    Expected: Last Word should not silence Invoker.
    Still exists as of July 6th, 2014.

    Witch Doctor's Voodoo Restoration
    Results: Last word has no interaction with it.
    Expected: Only the enable should silence Witch Doctor.
    Still exists as of July 6th, 2014.

    Ancient Apparition's Ice Blast
    Results: Both the initial casting and the release silences Ancient Apparition.
    Expected: Only the release should silence Ancient Apparition.
    Still exists as of July 6th, 2014.

    Troll Warlord's Berserker's Rage
    Results: Berserker's Rage does not interact with Last Word.
    Expected: Berserker's Rage should interact with the Last Word
    Still exists as of July 6th, 2014.

    Earth Spirit's Stone Remnant
    Results: Stone Remnant interacts with Last Word.
    Expected: Stone Remnant should not interact with Last Word.
    Fixed as of July 6th, 2014.

    Ember Spirit's Flame Guard and Fire Remnant
    Results: Flame Guard does not absorb Last Word damage.
    Fire Remnant silences both by casting the remnant to the target spot and teleporting to the remnant.
    Expected: Flame Guard suffers from Glitch 1, and should be fixed accordingly.
    Fire Remnant should not interact with Last Word at all.
    Still exists as of July 6th, 2014.

    Legion Commander's Press the Attack

    Results: Glitch 1.
    Expected: :3
    Still exists as of July 6th, 2014.

    Phoenix's Sun Ray and Supernova
    Results: Last Word cancels Sun Ray immediately after casting
    Expected: Last Word should not interact with Sun Ray at all.
    Expected: Glitch 1.
    Expected: :3
    Still exists as of July 6th, 2014.

    Techies' Suicide Squad, Attack!

    Results: Last Word kills Techies before he can die (if he is low HP), and will not activate before Last Word.
    Expected: Last Word activates first, preventing Techies from suiciding.

    Oracle suffers from glitch 1...

      I have read through all this. I was involved during the test and I confirm them all. Nicely written.

      I only want to add this thing:
      • Last Word should be a buff that is impossible to purge away. Cyclone, magic immunity, invulnerability, Time Lapse or getting hidden... Nothing can remove this Last Word curse from the hero on W3 DotA.
        The only way to get rid of this thing is actually casting a spell from your Hero's spells.

          How does the last word interact in DotA 1 with paused units (for example under Astral Imprisonment)? I'm asking because AI also pauses buffs on the hero.

            None of the pause interactions have been implemented yet. They have to get tested on W3 DotA to generate a full list on what can be paused and what not.
            Or we would need some sort of a general reliable information to easily tell what should be paused and what not.
            I am not knowledged on this, but I think, generally, the things that create a timer bar on your UI panel are being paused, and the other things are not.
            Hex, for example, creates a timer bar on your UI, or the illusion timers... They are being paused by the Astral Imprisonment.


            Last Word cannot be paused.


            But then again, those things have to get listed under another seperate list.
