    I guess it's intended, because why not, but since we report everything :

    dota1: Gyro Flak Cannon hits couriers, Medusa Split Shot hits couriers
    dota2 test: Gyro Flak Cannon doesn't hit couriers, Medusa Split Shot hits couriers

    I was sad to hear this, but if it's intended fix then . But yeah, inconsistent. It's fun to be gyro with flak cannon and kill a courier flying in without even knowing it.

      I was really surprised by this change, but seeing as there was no bug report on this (obviously, because it's on par with w3 DotA), this is totally looking they fixed it on purpose.

        It's pretty silly that I can snipe a courier at 1k range with my tiny right click range. At least medusa has to get in range.

              Occasionally a mechanic is "fixed" when it moves from Dota 1 to Dota 2. This seems to be one of those times. It's probably an intended change by the developers.

                that is true, but i see no reason to support this change... is it because in one of the recent matches, someone killed couriers by that?

                      Anyway, if someone fails to control courier properly it's not a proper reason for such "fixes"

                        But with 1000 range a gyro can completely deny a player from ever being able to use the courier, unless they fall back over 1000 units..

                          And... you have to do that.
                          I agree with lunatic3k. Gyro is annoying, he has 1000 range, and you have to fall back over 1000 units to not get hit by him yourself, too, not just the courier.

                          QoP can blink forward to kill the courier with ease.
                          Sniper has 750 attack range, 3/4th of what Gyro has with Flak Cannons.
                          The next step will be to make couriers completely invulnerable...


                          I don't know, I don't care. It is a blatant balance change, so I just don't know...

                            It'll probably be changed in the upcoming w3 Dota patch, either 6.77c or 6.78. Wouldn't be the first time they changed something in Dota 2 first.

                              then shouldnt they change split shot as well?
                              currently in dota2 these two spells have many inconsistancies. i can at least recall 3
