  • [Confirmed] Wisp's Tether does not have a cap for its healing

Say that, we've got a level 1 Io on our team, and a level 16 Chen
This Io gets its HP down to 10/473
Chen drops his HP down to 100/1198

    Io tethers this Chen
Chen uses his level 3 hand of god
Io is healed by 400, ending up with 410/473 HP
    Chen gets healed by 400 + 400*1.5 = 1000 HP woah...

    Nope, this shouldn't be happening.
Io has been healed for more than 50% of its HP. 400/473 = about 0.846, which is greater than 0.5
So, no healing shall happen through the Tether

While this scenario is a little unrealistic,
a regular Wisp with regular level and regular Max HP can transfer the heal of the Cheese, while it should be impossible unless the Wisp has 5000 Max HP

I confirm this Santelmo bug (we should keep the habit of calling heroes by their fun names IMO ).

Also, about tether+cheese specially, I forgot I made a report which never received any attention http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=67417

Well I previously thought it was intended but this is sort of like a needed critical fix considering if you have 'Io + a good healer in team situations'. A lot of times i get healed by omni + meka + dazzle crossing the 50% cap and ended up abusing this bug.Good find as always

I am pretty sure it's just each healing instance. Tether does not keep a running count of how much it has healed, so what you're talking about isn't a bug.

As i learned from past Devs have no priority for fixing low occurrence bugs (Which is not good in my opinion)

Indeed, it makes the community much more transparent for new people.

            Wait, what?
