    The other day, I was playing as AA in the mid lane when I heard a MoM. There were no enemies in sight, so I sent my ult into the rosh pit. Sure enough, Magnus and a couple of his teammates were there. Because of the MoM sound, my team managed to stop the rosh and net 2 or 3 kills.
    Now, are you supposed to hear anything from the rosh pit? I think not, but I'm not sure...

    I can confirm that after the latest patch I have been able to hear enemies using both items and abilities while we have no sight on them whatsoever. The worst part for them is that it's positional sound so you can tell where they are, today a poor Skywrath Mage farming neutrals with his spells was killed found out by my team entirely due to this. Massive bug, hope it gets fixed soon

      according to the last thread which icefrog created concerning equivalent visual bugs, it would be nice if you guys could update your posts with the matchids and timestamps.

              that's a tough one. i always considered him being audible as intended. but noone knows for sure.

                It wasn't the case in Dota1.

                But it may be marked as being intended if devs want to concede it. It surely adds a lot of fun, a new cool mechanism to play with, but it is only my mere opinion.

                  here, as you can see me on the Dire team as Treant calls out that I can hear Skywrath farming jungle, all my team gather, and we go to gank them. Not sure if a replay with the fog set to Team Dire shows reproduction of this but I can definitely hear the sound through fog within the replay
                  Just as further evidence you can see me pinging the camp through player perspective after Skywrath's spell sounds are played

                      Yea, happened to me a few times as well.

                      You can also see the visual effects of skills in the fog when you hear the sound of the skill. It helped me a few times to avoid Nyx ulti, or gank one or another person, but whenever I need to take Rosh or something I'm really afraid of that all, what might happen if the enemy hears something.

                      I think it's somewhat semi important issue here, unless it's really intended, but I don't think it should be. Fog is there for a reason, I believe.

                        Have just been able to completely reproduce these bugs within a private lobby, videos are uploading now.

                        So far I can tell you that these items are audible through fog
                        -Mask of Madness
                        -Blink Dagger (possibly known and intended)
                        And these hero related things are visible and audible (have only tested a few so far):
                        -Rubick Fade Bolt
                        -Rubick attacks
                        -Tuskarr Ice Shards
                        -Skywrath attacks
                        -Skywrath Concussive Shot
                        -Skywrath Arcane Bolt
                        -Skywrath Mystic Flare
                        -Batrider Firefly
                        -Ursa Overpower (sometimes works, sometimes not)

                        Heroes/Items that did not produce any results
                        -BKB
                        -Drums
                        -Euls
                        -Sven
                        -Vengeful Spirit

                        All of these were produced with zero sight upon targets in multiple areas, will soon test more heroes out but as far as I can tell it's all of the newer heroes producing the bugs

                        Rough video, I may end up testing more in the future but quite busy right now
                        As the video shows however this is a major bug that is reproducable by alot of heroes and items in any area, the devs may need to go over their code for each hero/item to ensure that this is no longer an issue

                          bumping again so this can atleast be added to critical in the sticky, it honestly puts alot of heroes at such a massive disadvantage and considering these said heroes are in CM this really needs to be fixed asap
