  • [Confirmed] Shadow Amulet Collision

In DotA 1, you retained your collision size when using Fade from Shadow Amulet.
In Dota 2, you retain your collision size until you are fully faded out, at which point you lose your collision size.

    Repro:
    1. It's Shadow Amulet. I mean, come on, are reproducible steps necessary here?
    2. I guess you like, polish the little gem or something to invoke it?
    3. Do you put it on to fade or something? That seems hard to do in the heat of battle.
    4. What does a hero truly need? A manual for these magickal doodads.
    5. Once you've appeased the Shadow Spirits of Lothar's Revenge, you fade out yet become intangible: something that never would have happened in the perfectly-balanced DotA 1.

i am guessing the first "retained" is supposed to be "lost"?

Yeah, not a typo. I haven't looked at the code yet, but Shadow Amulet doesn't feel like a Wind Walk-based spell like Meld to me. In any case, you definitely keep your collision in DotA 1.

i always assumed it just mirrored meld on an item.
never used it in wc3 dota though. 6.75 got released after i got my beta invite.
