  • [Confirmed] Razor's Eye of the Storm Range Vs Towers is wider

    Summary:

Razor's eye of the storm uses 475 + collision for it's range. It should be 500 centre to centre. Now for normal units it's negligible, but for towers it makes a difference of 120 (generally, tower's collision size is 144, while heroes are 24).

    Repro steps:

    1) Pick razor, get sceptre and lvl 1 ulti
    2) attack tower from max range with ultimate on

    Result:

Eye of the storm hits the tower

    Expected result:

The tower is in razor's attack range, but not that of his ultimate.

It could be coded to be like this in dota 1 but isn't. Go to playdota to express that opinion.

How is 500 centre to centre equal to 475 + 144? Good maths there. Or did you just criticise me without reading my post fully?

There, I highlighted it so that you can read it correctly. It's 119 range too large, proportionally that's an extra 24%.
