    It shouldn't. It uses un-disjointable bones as projectiles which travels at 600 speed towards every enemy in range in DotA1, and no this not an engine limitation.

      it was fan of knives because all others aoe spells without projectiles would cause movement problems while releasing, or am i wrong? (in warcraft)

      Maybe they decided to rework it into a normal aoe

        I don't understand. What movement problems?

        It is not fan of knives based. They are triggered projectiles which move at 600 speed.

          It doesn't use Fan of Knives.
          It doesn't need any AoE spell to damage. Can be all coded without using a spell for the damaging part.

            Speed of the projectiles is 600. It just uses Icefrog's standard triggered projectile function for every unit in the AoE.

              well ok maybe i was wrong i thought everything based on projectiles going out off a center in an aoe is coded with fan of knives because of the trigger set

                  Yes can't be disjointed with blinks though I still think this stupid mechanic should be get rid of and make every projectile disjointable etc and ignores Linken's.
