  • Knock Back stuns (Power cogs, Greater bash) are overwritten by other forced movement.

    Dota 2:
Knock back stun from power cogs and greater bash can be overwritten by force staff and other forced movement like timberchain.

Powercogs knock back stun can be overwritten by force staff

Greater Bash Knock back stun overwritten by force staff

Greater Bash stun overwritten by timberchain. I was playing timbersaw and this game happened after the patch fixed timber chain working then stunned.

    Dota 1:
Greater bash stun is not overwritten by force staff

Every movement spell in Dota2 overrides previous movement spells.
This is a well known difference and is way more consistent than it is in DotA1. This is something discuss worthy imo. Is it better to port all the different DotA1 interaction between all the spells over, or is it better when there is a consistency?
How about making them all work simultaniously and not cancel each other at all?

If it's ok with you, I'll move this to brainstorming.
    Please, just call me buny.

          My personal opinion:
Forced movements like Force Staff, Greater Bash and more should stack. This makes a lot of sense gameplay wise and is actually logical (regarding the real world, even if it's a fantasy game).
Hook, Lasso etc. should have priority over these stacking movements. How they should interact? Probably logical, but that's sort of hard to decide.
If you think I've closed or deleted a post unjustified, feel free to PM me and I'll explain it to you/discuss it with you further.

i do think the forced movement should follow the later ability, but the stun shouldnt be override. force staff doesnt stun someone afterall.
