How is Lich's Sacrifice supposed to work now when distributing experience?

My friend and I were testing it, and when we're on the same team, the full amount of exp was divided evenly among us when I sacrificed a melee creep (31 exp each).

When we were on OPPOSITE teams though, we each got the the FULL amount of exp when I sacrificed a melee creep (62 each). Is this supposed to be how it works?

In my head, I thought it would've distributed it evenly among the heroes (allied or enemy) there, but this isn't the case. Hypothetically, in a dual lane, the Lich and whatever carry he is with will get the same amount of exp TOTAL as an solo offlane (31+31=62). Is this how it was intended to work?

i am pretty sure increasing the total exp is not supposed to happen. but that is just based on the common sense.

Currently, all forms of exp is shared in Dota2. This here would be the only unshared one if it's true.

Do I get that right? The opponent benefits from me sacrificing creeps xp-wise?
I always thought;
- Opponent gets standard xp amount
- I get the same xp amount for myself/allies

Dont think its cool that we actually share with the opponent..

As for the topic even if it seems fkn weird it may be intended because you can just sacrifice out of their xp range anyway

I mean, it's shared among the team. If you make a kill, every ally of you gets exp from it, be it a creep or a hero kill. This goes for every xp granted in the game. Lich's Sacrifice would be the only exception now if this report is true.
OP said that every enemy hero close gets the exp as if they didn't share it, all of them get full exp. If this is true, it would be the only thing which doesn't split the exp among them.

Oh, to be clear, we did it with just us (2v0 first, and then 1v1).

I think if it were 2v2, both teams would get 62 exp (124 total). My friend and I didn't test it that extensively.

The sacrificed creep should give normal exp to the enemy team and the same amount of exp to your team.

Midas is an example opposing what you've said.

- Sacrifice no longer denies enemy XP
- Sacrifice now converts your own creep for XP (shared in AoE as normal creep xp bounty)

I would suggest that it means that there are 2 instances of XP given. 1 for allies, and 1 for enemies, which are both equal to the usual amount for the creep. There's no real way to tell though.

now: you sacrifice 1 creep = how much exp do you get if you are on a lane with 2 allies and the enemy single hero is also in range of that sacrifice? do you want to tell that it means now the total xp of a single creep gets equally divided by 3 heroes in that situation?

Your team gets as much exp as it would get from just killing the creep. The enemy team gets as much exp as it would if the creep just died.

Sacrifice never really counted as a creep deny. It never affected your cs deny stats.

It gives double the exp. If it normally died it would give X exp, if you sacrifice it it gives X exp to each team. Also deny EXP is not 1/4 of normal EXP, it gives 36 exp instead of normal EXP bounty, which is 62/41 for melee and ranged creeps respectively.
