  • [Investigate] Rubick with aghanim's sceptor stealing Tinker spells.

Sorry to say I won't have a chance to test this myself until much later but that is why I am posting in brainstorming.

With Tinker's new 6.80 Aghanim upgrade to laser and rocket and Rubick's change to Aghanim behavior in 6.79, can anyone confirm that if Rubick steals laser or rocket that he get's the Aghanim upgrade if Rubick is holding an Aghanim sceptor?

    Hope that made sense...

    Good point
Somebody must pick Rubick buy aghanims then create tinker enemy and give him aghanims and cast rocket or laser and Spell steal from tinker afterwards and see if Rubick steals the Aghanim upgraded laser or not
My English is not great and i know it

It appears that the Aghs upgrades are tied to the specific spells, not Rearm.

So a Rubick with Aghanim's gets double-range laser and 4 rockets HSM when he steals laser/HSM?
        Please, just call me buny.

When I tested it, that is how it seems, it even says on the spells themselves that they are upgraded by Aghanim's Scepter.

over years Aghanim scepter has been gradually shifted from ulti upgrade only to hero spells/synergy upgrade. i wouldnt be surprised rubick's scepter works for laser and rocket

It seems like Aghanim's upgrades are tied to skills. If you steal Darkness, you won't get an unobstructed vision(I guess it's tied to Hunter in the Night).
              Possible solution to foreigners issue
In the grim darkness of the far future there is only war.

Oh, so they fixed that, too. It used to be tied to the ulti.

In DotA1, it's tied to HitN aswell.
