As of the current Dota 2 version the heroes unavailable in Captain's Mode are: Broodmother, Earth Spirit, Ember Spirit, Legion Commander, Terrorblade and Phoenix

[Hero Stats and general issues]
- Ember Spirit has wrong turning speed
- Ember Spirit's abilities have harder time dodging projectiles [In Debate]
- Maelstrom / Mjollnir won't proc when a chain lightning is in effect
[Searing Chains]
- Searing Chains target Visage's Familliars [Fixed?]
- Searing Chains is dispelled by magic immunity and not dispelled by ethereal state
[Sleight of Fist]
- Sleight of Fist doesn't target invulnerable units
- Sleight of Fist bugs Ember Spirit's model when it's casted at the right moment on an enemy which just becomes invisible
- Ember Spirit doesn't benifit from auras during Sleight of Fist
- Sleight of Fist deals damage too early
- Sleight of Fist triggers Corrosive Skin
- Sleight of Fist doesn't trigger Reactive Armor
- Sleight of Fist doesn't prioritize heroes
- Sleight of Fist doesn't provide invulnerability properly
- Sleight of Fist lacks vision
[Flame Guard]
[Fire Remnant]
- Fire Remnants movespeed is determined upon casting them, instead of periodically adapted to Xin's movespeed
- Fire Remnants can cause Ember Spirit to get stuck and render him unable to act
- Fire Remnants visually appear at wrong locations when they are casted in fog of war by a not visible enemy
- Activate Fire Remnants doesn't cancel Sleight of Fist
DotA enabled/Dota 2 disabled:

[Overwhelming Odds]
- Overwhelming Odds doesn't count invulnerable units
- Overwhelming Odds applies the movement speed buff while being magic immune
- Overwhelming Odds doesn't deal bonus damage to Enchantress' enchanted units
- Overwhelming Odds movement speed buff doesn't update when hitting a different amount of units while having the buff from a previous cast
[Press The Attack]
- Press the Attack heals in too small and fast intervals
- Press the Attack doesn't stack up with itself when casted on twice on the same unit
[Moment of Courage]
- Legion Commander's illusions have Moment of Courage
- Moment of Courage's legacy hotkey doesn't work
- Moment of Courage doesn't trigger Reactive Armor
- Moment of Courage attack doesn't trigger any attack modifier like crits or cleave
- Moment of Courage doesn't trigger on attacks from Exorcism ghosts and The Swarm beetles
- Moment of Courage allows multiple strikes when the attack doesn't proc the lifesteal
[Duel]
- Duel doesn't disable Broodmother's Incapacitating Bite
- Several spells allow their caster to not attack Legion Commander duing her Duel
- Berserker's Call and Duel are fully overriding each other
- Wraith King uses his ultimate and Aegis on the same death, when he dies while a Duel is going on
- When the Duel target dies instantly after the cast of Duel, Duel doesn't end with the target's death and doesn't give Legion Commander a victory
- Duel doesn't disable passives it should disable and disables passives it shouldn't disable
- Dueling units can attack while being hexed
- A hero affected by two Duels attacks the enemy of the 1st Duel instead of not attacking at all
- When a hero affected by 2 Duels dies, only the duelist who got into Duel first gets the damage instead of both
- No damage from killing a unit during Duel that's already under Duel
- Casting Duel on a unit already in a Duel [Intended?]
- Duel can be evaded

[Reflection]
- Reflection slow should not be blocked by Linken Sphere
- Reflection Cannot Target Non-Heroes
- Reflection illusions of Phantom Lancer have Juxtapose and can create illusions with it
[Conjure Image]
[Metamorphosis]
- Metamorphosis should not have transformation time.
- Metamorphosis wrong interaction with Illusion runes
- Metamorphosis can attack Roshan from outside Pit.
[Sunder]
- Sunder should not be blocked by Linken Sphere.
- Sunder should not heal under Ice Blast.
- Sunder Mini-Stun Has Incorrect Properties
- Sunder heal is not transfered with Wisp's Tether, when the heal is below the threshold

[Icarus Dive]
- Icarus Dive allows to leave the map boundaries
- Icarus Dive breaks Slark's Pounce
- Icarus Dive and Chronosphere interaction [Debate, waiting for DotA 6.80 to check parity]
- Icarus dive not canceling from hitting the hotkey mid-dive [Needs Testing]
- Starting Sun Ray during Icarus Dive [Needs Testing]
- Invisible Sun Ray [Needs Testing]
[Fire Spirits]
[Sun Ray]
- Sun Ray movement is not disabled by Entangles and Ensnares
- Sun Ray doesn't update visual if Phoenix is out of sight [Needs Testing]
[Supernova]
- Geminate Attack affects Supernova egg
- Phoenix shouldn't keep his normal vision during Supernova
- Blademail and Supernova interaction [Needs Confirmation]
- Urn Charges in Supernova are not credited [Needs Confirmation]

[Spawn Spiderlings]
- Spawn Spiderlings spawns Spiderlings even when the projectile is still in mid air when the unit dies
- Spawn Spiderlings debuff can be dispelled by magic immunity
- Damage From Spiderlings' Poison Sting Doesn't Stack
- Viper's Corrosive skin damaging Broodmother if spiderlings attack (works only with spiderlings, not spiderites)
- Broodmother's Spiderlings & Spiderites have 8 collision, should have 12
[Spin Web]
- Leveling up Spin Web while standing invisible in a web reveals Broodmother
- All broodmother-owned units should get the MS and HP regen from the webs
[Incapacitating Bite]
- Broodmother' Incapacitating Bite not blocked by silence
- Broodmother's Incapacitating Bite duration is wrong for non-hero units
[Insatiable Hunger]
- Broodmother's Insatiable Hunger doesn't lifesteal from Lone Druid's Spirit Bear
- Tornado purges Insatiable Hunger

[Boulder Smash]
- Boulder Smash is not canceled by death
- Resurrecting during Boulder Smash makes you respawn at the position you died, instead of at the end of the smash
- Boulder Smash damages the target at the start of the push, instead of at the end
- Boulder Smash doesn't push invulnerable units
- Boulder Smash is castable on siege units
- Boulder Smash is able to free units out of Black Hole and Chronosphere
[Rolling Boulder]
- Rolling Boulder doesn't slow magic immune units [Fixed]
- Earth Spirit get stuck in Rolling Boulder when Flaming Lasso is casted on him at the right time
- Rolling Boulder Stone Remnant detection range at the start of the roll is off
- Rolling Boulder doesn't give flying vision
- Rolling Boulder distance with a Stone Remnant is calculated wrong
- Rolling Boulder doesn't get interrupted properly when it's positioned so that it would have hit an enemy hero
- Rolling Boulder slow shouldn't be removed by magic immunity
- Rolling Boulder breaks Slark Pounce Leash
[Geomagnetic Grip]
- Geomagnetic Grip is castable and gets wasted on magic immune allies
- Geomagnetic Grip can be casted on vulnerable buildings and wards
[Stone Remnant]
- Kaolin can have 10 Stone Remnants up at a time
- Stone Remnants can't be selected
- Stone Remnant doesn't has casting time
- Stone Remnant dispels Curse of the Silent
- Rolling Boulder Stone Remnant detection range at the start of the roll is off
- Rolling Boulder distance with a Stone Remnant is calculated wrong
- Magnetize doesn't get applied on invisible units, neither the cast, nor the re-applying via Stone Remnants
