simply put no. Teams should communicate when a gem has been dropped or is in proximity to one another, why take out that communication aspect when its doesnt require that much effort to tell your team oh theres a gem on the gound at x place

ryaNk the thing re: communication is part of the problem though - in too many games players DON'T use their mics, or type this kind of relevant information. Also, the nature of this notification is already in the game in some form - when someone on your team purchases the gem.

I don't like this idea, I believe you saw a player buy a gem you should also notice when they die. Plus they can also use their mic or type to there teammates when they die anyways.

I think you're right that this comes down to communication - which is significantly less in most pick-up groups than it is in premades, which is why I would like it. Too many games am I the only player using voice to alert my team to issues, and a lot of times they don't even have voice turned on.

I think that's an important distinction - the notifications should only be for the team that did the dropping/pickingup/destroying.

  • Add Team-Wide Message for Pickup/Drop/Destroy Gem of True Sight

I think many players would appreciate a team-wide notification (possibly audible as well) that indicates to an entire team when the Gem of True Sight has been dropped (by a teammate), picked up (by a teammate), or destroyed (by a teammate).

Knowing if a member of my team destroyed the gem during a fight has big consequences for a stealthed player, and looking at their inventory isn't always a good solution if you're mid-fight.

    Just an idea.
