  • Morhpling strength under AA's ulti

Shouldn't morhpling strength work under AA's ulti? I mean morphling is something that shape shifts the nature of it's own material.
Why should AA's ulti interfere with this? I find it highly unstable to play morph under this circumstances. More so, it's not even necessarily to be on the sphere of the AA's ulti, if you crossed it path morph is dead.

Morphing to strength increases your hp limit as well as your current hp. If you are under AA ulti buff you cannot gain any hp. You can raise your hp limit but that will make you dying more likely. As far as I know it is in parity with WC3 Dota.

AA ulti clearly states that it disables any hp regeneration and healing. Mekasm, bottle etc do not work. Why should morphing to strength work (increasing your current hp)?

Because from my point of view, it is his main skill, not some sort of item. I understand what AA ulti does, I just don't see why is allowed on morph.
Morph is inside the shell to say it like that, mekasm is out side the shell, out side the hero's abilities.

well it's same behaviour as in dota1, and also, at one point in dota2, morphling could get some hp, but it got changed to mimic dota1 behaviour, don't expect too much about this changed back.

Your hp is frozen. It can't increase. Simple as that.

Dont try to apply logic to this. Morph is already an insanly strong spell with very little counters. It for example fully ignores disables of any form.
