  • Status resistance affects invoker's tornado bug

3 years ago I encounterd a bug when status resistance was implemented into the game, like the title says status resistance affects invoker's tornado.

This has to be a bug since status resistance does not affect a similar item like euls scepter because it would mess up the timing for many heroes that use euls for landing their spells which have a delay. For example SF ult, Lina stun, Leshrac stun.

Tornado is still affected by status resistance and that makes the spell impossible to use as a reliable setup for invoker's other spells since you must take into account the following:
1: The amount of status resistance the enemy target has (this get's more complicated to take into account when the enemy has multiple status resistance items)
2: The amount of debuff amplification I have.
3: The level of quas (it affects the duration of tornado)
4: The distance between the enemies lifted up by tornado. (enemies hit at the start of tornado will come down earlier than enemies hit at the end)

    My soluton :
Make tornado just like euls scepter and don't let it be affected by status resistance.

How to replicate this bug? :
Pick invoker and cast tornado on any target with status resistance.

    Match ID:
Any match that has an invoker in it.
