    Sorry for the weirdly titled post, but not sure how else to describe it...

    I encountered this issue where a Necrophos casted Reaper's Scythe on me, and while the Scythe itself did not kill me, I died shortly after, but the extra respawn time from Reaper's Scythe was still added to my respawn timer. This happened in match ID 3418887465 at 49:19. I am the Veno that Necrophos casted Reaper's Scythe on. Reaper's Scythe brings me to 4 HP, but I die shortly after to I assume Heartstopper Aura. The description for Reaper's Scythe states "Heroes killed by Reaper's Scythe will have 10/20/30 seconds added to their respawn timer," so it doesn't seem like the extra respawn time should be applied to me in this kill since it's not the Scythe damage itself that kills me.

    Note how the main Reaper's Scythe damage happens at [49:21.38], but it also hits again at [49:21.41] and adds the Scythe respawn time. Also, Reaper's Scythe is cast at [49:19.87], and the effect ends at [49:21.41], a difference of 0.04 seconds or probably about a server tick?

    Wild speculation: It seems like the 2nd instance of Reaper's Scythe damage is the game fulfilling the "Any kill under this effect is credited to Necrophos" part of Reaper's Scythe by taking whatever lethal damage happens to the hero under the effect of Reaper's Scythe and making Scythe deal the damage instead. However, since the Scythe effect lasts a bit too long, it lets this case happen where Scythe doesn't kill the affected hero but something else does right after and because the hero is still under the Scythe effect, it considers it to be killed under Scythe and adds the respawn time.

    I've also been able to sort of reproduce the same effect in Demo mode:
    1. Go to Demo mode with Necrophos
    2. Use the console to set host_timescale to something slow enough like 0.05
    3. Level Necrophos to the point where you can skill Reaper's Scythe
    4. Buy Dagon 5 on Necrophos to use for instant, lethal damage
    5. Create an enemy Axe
    6. Cast Reaper's Scythe on the Axe
    7. IMMEDIATELY after the main damage on Reaper's Scythe hits (use the damage numbers to tell when that happens), use Dagon 5 on the Axe

    This should result in a combat log where Reaper's Scythe does its main damage, then it does damage again after Dagon is used and modifier_necrolyte_reapers_scythe_respawn_time is added to the Axe.
