    summary:

    Pudge can exploit rot, turning it on and instantly off every second makes him take 1/4 of the enemies dmg taken from rot.

    Reproduction:

    1. pick pudge, level up rot
    2. stand near enemy, turn rot on and instantly off.
    3. check combat log and look at enemys hp.

    Result:

    Pudge gets hit for 1 tick of rot, enemys get hit by 4 ticks of rot.

    expected:

    Same amount of ticks for both pudge and the enemy



    I did a search but theres a shitload of threads about pudge, and it wouldnt let me search for rot. so im sorry if this has been posted before. and i posted it in brainstorm cos im not sure if its intended or not. but since it can make a big difference in damage taken i wanted to post it and suggest a change even if its intended. For reference, turning rot on and off makes a enemy hero take 1000 damage while pudge takes 250 damage from rot (not counting flesh heap magic resist).


    Combat log:

    [15:47.65] Pudge hits Pudge with Rot for 13 damage (2366->2353).
    [15:47.65] Pudge hits Dark Troll with Rot for 22 damage (347->325).
    [15:47.65] Dark Troll receives Rot debuff from Pudge.
    [15:47.65] Pudge receives Rot debuff from Pudge.
    [15:47.89] Pudge hits Dark Troll with Rot for 22 damage (325->303).
    [15:48.09] Pudge hits Dark Troll with Rot for 22 damage (303->281).
    [15:48.29] Pudge hits Dark Troll with Rot for 22 damage (281->259).


    EDIT: just tested in dota1, rot instantly stops dealing damage to enemys there. so it is different in dota2 from dota1. So this should be considered a bug.

    EDIT: and for clarification, i noticed this on the normal client. and the tests i did for this post was done on the test client.
