    Still, Huskar's AS calculation is way off (less than intended). I'm not sure what happened there.

      Alright, since I didn't notice this until now, here's something posted 2 months before the OP, just to close this case up:
      http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=23317

      @zero: that's because you're doing it wrong
      Every time someone make a false report.
      Making people's losses feel worse with just my name (don't ask me how it work, I certainly don't)

      Currently observed Orb(Unique Attack Modifiers), Critical, and Bash interactions for DotA2

      To:
      People who cry MM isn't fair: Maybe you're not as great as you make yourself to be.
      People who wants surrender: It exists, but I'm not teaching you how to do it.

        Is it the same problem? I have not really checked.
        Always read and follow the forum rules. If you need help from a moderator, use the report button ()
        Before posting new bugs:
        -Check the Known Bugs List and search the forum for an existing report.
        -Make sure its a bug (test in WC3 Dota, visit playdota guides and adv. mech, etc). If you're still not sure, post in Mechanics and Gameplay Bug Brainstorming instead.
        -Read the Bug Posting Guidelines on how to report a bug properly.

          Well, my other thread started the same way (notice some hero having extra AS), and turns out it's not a bug, just a sort of visual clue from Valve to hint at the hero's faster attack speed.

          If you only count the AS from Agi/items to check your attack interval, it should show the correct value (i.e. Huskar with total of +100 AS should say 0.8s per attack)

            RoflCat, but, at the same time, there is also similr thread, here it is http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=25102&page=2 where op stated that AS intervals are not correct right now, and DLRevan asked for confirmation there as of the latest patch. Does these problems depend on each other?

              No, that's another issue entirely (heroes having some fixed delay between attacks), and not at all related to the issue here (Heroes with lower BAT showing fake AS bonus)

              My other, now closed, thread already cover this thread's topic so this is actually duplicate anyway.

                I think I found that issue arises from the fact that the formula used looks like this;

                (1.7/BAT*100) + IAS = AS

                This formula calculates a static increase for the BAT value, in the Magina case described 17 attack speed to the 100 base, instead of using a percentage increase like this;

                [1.7/BAT] * (100+IAS) = AS

                The latter formula would lead to a dynamic increase in attack speed, over the small static bonus that relies on the 100 base attack speed, which would be relevant to what we could call the BAT increase factor (which is 1.7/BAT) and would solve to eliminate the value. Now, it seems that the prior formula being used is a mistake, though I have no confirmation from any developer, but it certainly is incorrect meaning that we get the weird values and interactions we currently have. Using the latter version would properly update the AS to reflect that certain heroes attack faster per default or after having used a transformation ability.

                I thought this up during a break I had so tell me if you can spot any errors.
