Played a game few days back now where I was playing Necrolyte and i ult'd Tidehunter, but his kraken shell proc'd before the scythe came down on him to deal damage, just wondering if this is working as intended? Dispelling the stun seems fine but completely avoids any dmg the ult would of dealt. If I remember correctly in older versions of dota, reaper's scythe dealt damage instantly with the stun being applied after dmg instead of before, so this wouldn't of been an issue.

Reaper's scythe and kraken shell

I think he means the fight at 36:10.
Kraken shell is supposed to dispel the stun, the damage should be applied though. It really looks like Tide is able to dodge the damage (dies 2 seconds later nonetheless but reaper's scythe should've finished him).
Something's rather strange here though. Tide gets damaged from 960 to 426hp and I don't know where that damage comes from. Death pulse hits but that doesn't make 500 damage.
E: I think the reaper's scythe damage was dealt at the start of casting even before the animation showed. Don't know why though.Last edited by apoptosis; 04-21-2012, 04:41 AM.

[36:20.90] Necrolyte hits Tidehunter with Reaper's Scythe for 327 damage (753->426).
0.6*(1480-753)*0.75=327.15
the damage is dealt at the end of the stun(well, the stun was kinda short, but u know, that's how kraken shell works), so no problem there.Last edited by Eric37073; 04-21-2012, 06:07 AM.
