Shouldn't Clockwerk's rocket sight block neutral creeps from respawning?

  • Shouldn't Clockwerk's rocket sight block neutral creeps from respawning?

    If I shoot a rocket at an empty neutral creep spawn area at 9:51 for example, shouldn't it block the creeps from respawning? Currently it doesn't. As a former HoN player, I can say with certainty that you can block jungle spawns with Pharaoh, their equivilent of Clockwerk. If this is true to the original Dota, it needs to be added.

      That game gives everyone insecurities about almost any mechanic. T_T

        Yep that's why I loaded dota and checked, I have to do that a lot for bugs, and check playdota, because I played hon and a lot of "bugs" are actually intended features in dota. Kinda annoying they changed so many obscure mechanics.

          It was once possible to block camps in DotA with Rocket Flare, it was also possible to do this with other abilities such as Elune's Arrow, but the check for neutral creep spawns were altered to not include dummy units.

          In other words it wasn't completely intentional from the start.

            Currently only units can block the neutral spawn. Previously, vision could also block neutral spawns, but it got changed in DotA 1.
