    Not sure if this is intended, or how it was in DotA1, but I think this is something that should be fixed even if it's not per se a "bug" (in the sense that it differs from DotA1).

    In my opinion it doesn't make sense for it to drop group simply because it grows stronger (and you can't really argue that it'll have an impact in making the game easier by any significant amount). Believe me, I'm not one of those who scream "fix mana bar!!!", but I find this surprising and annoying.

    Please give your opinion!

    Agreed. It worked this way in dota 1, but there's no reason why it should.

      there is a reason why it should and it makes sense, when the bear levels up, it is replaced. its really that simple, its a whole new unit all together. diffrent max hp, diffrent ability, attack, armor , stats. when it levels up a new bara is summoned then given the same status / current hp as the old.

        OK I just checked because it doesn't make sense if spirit bear gets removed from control groups when units like beastmaster summons or necro units retain their control groups after upgrading.

        Spirit bear stays in the control group after the skill is raised, I'm not really sure what OP is talking about...

        I guess maybe he is talking about the 1 case where you have your hero and sylla selected and level up the skill and bear will drop from you current selection. This seems totally inconsequential to me but could be changed.

          No, there is no legitimate reason to have a dying bear animation when it doesnt die at all.

          It should just look like it grows and be replaced by the upgraded unit - A dead bear should not be shown. Simple as that.
