  • Hex inconsistencies in Dota2

    This is rather related to game mechanics. I found a couple of inconsistencies with hex in dota2.

    1.) while hexed you are still able to gain experience
    2.) your actions are not being canceled when getting hexed

    according to the thread on playdota.com about hex and its mechanics, you shouldnt be able to gain exp while being hexed. however, experience still gets split as if you would have gained it. i just tested it and the hexed unit gained experience just as it would normally do.
    the other thing is that all order should get canceled when you get hexed, which is also not the case in dota2.

    edith: as it looks like the playdota mechanics thread isnt up to date anymore. so it would be good if anyone could test this stuff in dota1 to see the behaviour there

    I also just tested it with Lion's hex. Enemy hero did not receive XP from lane creeps while hexed.

      where did you test it? in dota 2 or in wc3 dota? kinda crucial bit of information, you are missing out.
