  • Dealing with leavers/spoilers is a disappointment and not easy

Before I was given the chance to play Dota 2, I thought Dota 2 was much greater than Dota 1 as it has a good system. However, what should we do if there are leavers and spoilers in a game? Looking at the attachment, that was a sad case when I looked at all of my teammates left the game for no reason and just gave up because of the range of score on top.

Wrong section, it was 5v4, there is no forfeit, the only way to forfeit is for your entire team to leave, you are the only one left in the game, not allowing your opponents to start another game.

So leaving a game is to show forfeit? If that's the case, the number of leavers might increase from time to time. Hope to have a better way instead of leaving if want forfeit.

        Quoted for truth!
Happened to me too once, game started 4v5. People said he joined the game, but on my screen it just said "%s1 joined the game" or something along those lines.

Since the beta players from PD forum keep getting their beta keys in numerous numbers, I think reporting their act of leaving or spoiling the game won't help a lot.
There are too many beta players who received the keys and played Dota 2 beta without focusing on what and why they were assigned as beta players.

Leaving will be prevented as soon as Valve adds a system for it. They already count Abandons, next step is adding something that punishes people will a lot of abandons.
