  • [Intended?] Void chrono and bash.

IIRC in DotA Void's bash after being applied to a chronoed target is paused and starts duration after chrono ends. Example: Void chronoed kunkka and starts hitting him. 2 hits bash the target. After chrono duration the traget is immediately affected by bash.

In dota 2 bash isn't paused and is applied and ended in chrono.

Just tested and confirmed. In dota 1 void's bash stays on target during the whole chrono duration and starts countdown only after it ends.

Well in a way this is a nerf to Void. It almost gave him a guaranteed +1 sec of disable. This is almost like reducing his chrono duration by 1.

And TA is no longer affected by cold snap stuns as long as she has refract charges up, there are many subtle changes on various heroes.

For sure they did and they will do so again, with each patch they think it's necessary
They try to keep as much from the original Dota unless it's realy dumb or only engine related (and dumb ).
Seems like they did not like the idea of pausing the entire character including all buffs and debuffs (and I wouldn't wonder if also CDs).
If you think I've closed or deleted a post unjustified, feel free to PM me and I'll explain it to you/discuss it with you further.

I feel that pause should remain in the game specifically on void. So many interactions with chronosphere are no longer possible on both sides of the spectrum. It wasn't as important with other pause abilities because as far as I'm aware most/all of them also hid the unit. It'd be simple enough to make it pause buffs and debuffs and state in the tooltip of the ability that it does so.

It says [needs testing]. Not entirely sure why?

Anyways, the original poster is right. I did test in WC3 DotA, and it does indeed pause the stun, which then lasts for a whole second after the Chronosphere ends.

Yes I changed it to intended after testing and confirming. It still shows needs testing outside of the thread itself. Anyway I repeat, it makes Void's ult weaker. In my opinion it should be fixed.

Don't think this will happen. They would've to add the pause feature again what was increadibly bad imo. If a hero is to weak he gets a buff.

If a hero works differently in D2 and D1 and gets the same buff in both games, he'll be broken in one version..
