    I think he was asking me to do them with the Crit section, like whether the bonus damage are simply added on (like Clinkz's Searing Arrow) or actually get multiplied by crits (and as a side, Cleave) too.

    I know Bounty's Shadow Walk is an extra hit so that one won't interact with orb/crit at all.

    Also, anything that add to your normal damage will give lifesteal, regardless of damage type, thus why MKB work even if it's magic damage.

    EDIT: Done, and with a few extra on there.

      When a hero with auto-castable orb effects uses them as a single cast, is it considered an orb or a spell?

        Yes.

          The priority is still the same for both single and auto cast. And will still count as an attack for things like Counter Helix, Craggy Exterior.

          The differences are:
          1. Manual cast can't be canceled until the projectile fire - on one hand this means you can't accidently cancel your attack before it fire, on the other hand it means you can't cancel your attack if you realize something and want to cancel the attack (like, say, realizing your target have Blademail on and you are low enough to die if your attack land)
          2. Manual cast will shoot even under Crystal Maiden's Frostbite (but not under Invoker's Deafening Blast).

              Curse of Silence is code to not be removed from orb-walking.

              Basically, everything that would count spell cast are coded to ignore them (Magic Wand/Stick, OD's aura, Last Word, etc), the only exception would be Netherward that sap things as they use mana.

                Yeah, my bad. I was originally thinking on Feast and nethertoxin, but then when to look at the hero pool and added everything that might cleave/crit/lifeleech.

                  Manual cast can also be used while you're ethereal. Which could make Ethereal Blade really strong on Viper assuming his ultimate now works properly against ethereal enemies.

                      Most likely a big fat YES, Germinate, Incapacitating Bite, Maelstorm and a few other effects requiring an actual attack command to fire was due WC3 engine being that way and frankly I don't see a reason why they would want to keep it in.

                          Because I only need one attack for last hitting and can use the geminate attack to harras or push(kill the other creeps faster/last hit with the second attack). This way the second attack is most oftenly wasted.

                            But what if your intended target is in the middle of a creep pile? If you end up attacking something else entirely via auto-attack, then you'll only end up missing the last hit AND push your lane unnecessarity.

                            Your 'benefit' is not exactly a reliable one.

                            If you really don't want Germinate to get wasted, you can always just fire it at other target early then come back to last hit. Or you can always go to playdota.com and suggest that the second shot doesn't fire if the target die from the first hit.

                              Just realized Nethertoxin in DotA1 is added as a green number at the beginning of the attack, and is able to crit.

                              It can't crit in DotA2 (just tested it with a shallow graved lvl 1 doom*), it's added after the crit calculation. Should it be reported?



                              *Does anyone know how to create some dummy unit with actual 0 armor and 0 resistances?
                              Does anyone know how to create a non-hero unit besides spawns and roshan?

                                ^Can't think of a unit with 0 magic resistance and armor.

                                try this one

                                -createhero npc_dota_neutral_centaur_khan

                                creates one of the bigger cenaurs. Add enemy at the end when you want a hostile one.
