  • Can't deny allies with DOT debuffs

In the original dota you could deny allies that would be killed with a dot debuff eg
Urn of Shadows ( this is a big one )
Venomous Gale, Shadow/Viper Strike, Doom ,Shadow Word, Blood Rage, Battle Hunger

I can't recall if all of these are deniable in the original especially battle hunger however that was mostly due to limitations in wc3 and how spells like battle hunger were scripted and not actual DOT spells.

Semi related : I can't euls allies. Can't remember if this was patched out recently in the original.

Not all DoTs are deniable. Battle Hunger, Blood Rage and Urn are not deniable. The others you listed are working as intended in Dota2. Also, you're completely wrong about the reasons for certain things not being deniable. They aren't deniable for the sake of balance, it isn't an engine limitation by any stretch of the imagination.

    Euls can't target allies anymore.

Unless it was patched in recently, denying for things like doom is not working properly.
Spamming A + Left Click on the doomed ally doesn't do anything and they just DOT dead.

You were probably trying to deny something that isn't deniable.

I think you just need to click harder, denying doomed ally works just fine.

Fyi that euls change was made back in 6.60 aka long time ago

The only DoTs that support denying are Viper Strike, Shadow Strike, Venomous Gale, Doom, and Shadow Word. Allowing denies is the exception rather than the rule.
