  • Question about Berserker's Call + Nightmare.

I and a friend would like to choose a combo with Bane+Axe. But after trying we find out it doesn't work on the person got nightmared.
    Is that true ?

not sure what you are trying to ask here.

have you played that "combo" in wc3 dota and it doesnt work in dota 2?
    or
have you no idea whether axe and bane can combo together and seek gameplay advice?

if it's the later then you are wrong here.
playdota.com will happily accommodate your knowledge seeking, this forum is forum bug reporting and topics related to the development of dota 2.

Nightmare and berserkers call behave exactly the same in both games:

Nightmared units are affected however do not attack until woken up. If you attack a nightmared unit as axe while they are asleep and under the effect of berserkers call they will proceed to try to hit you and go back to sleep.

I had never thought about nightmare and no-damage crowd-control effects. Does Treant wake up nightmared units? What about meepo/naga net? What about EMP in DotA1?(since it's HP removal) What about Shackleshot?

HP removal doesn't, nightmare itself is HP removal. In WC3 the killing blow of nightmare was magic damage (I think) and would therefore wake you up if you didn't die (refraction, abaddon's shield, shallow grave, or a heap of magic resist).

Naga net and shackleshot don't. Can't be bothered testing much more at the moment!
