  • Rosh aggro different from Dota 1?

In Dota 1 it was possible to kill Roshan with Venomancer on low level and with only few items.
Rosh attacked Venos wards mainly and if Veno got aggro he could lose it pretty fast (by not attacking).

I don't know if this still works in 6.75 because it's been a while when I played WC3 Dota.

In Dota 2 it is way harder, nearly impossible, to kill Rosh with Veno only.
Veno gets Aggro instantly as soon as he starts attacking and loses the aggro only by running out of Roshs pit.

    Is this Intended?
Did Roshans aggro-behavior change in Dota 1 too?

    ^ This.
And also there is something different about the way the Veno Wards aggro. On W3 DotA, your wards would aggro Roshan if Roshan was in range. Now, they won't hit until you make one of your wards attack Roshan.
You had to make a ward camp out of 4-5 wards close enough to Roshan so that you won't have to go out that much, but also far enough so that they won't hit Roshan before you build up the 4-5 ward camp. Now, you can make that camp right next to the Roshan and neither Roshan nor Wards will aggro each other.

Right, now that you mention it.
This reminds me that Wards aren't attacking Neutrals either (unless Veno attacks). Do they in W3 Dota?

I would like to have it the "old" way.
The ward-aggro may be a tiny advantage for Veno but the Rosh-aggro is a huge disadvantage.

If anyone saw a veno soloing roshan feel free to post a match ID =)

It is still doable, bit harder though. You simply do not attack it at all with hero or you keep on walking out of the pit.

Basically the whole aggro system works differently now, with Wards having the lowest priority at all times, which was not the case in Dota 1 (or at least I remember it that way).

So we can summ it up that Plague Wards have to low aggro.
Can someone proof it in W3 Dota?
I'm gonna capture it in Dota 2 and post it in the main section.

This is a duplicate for the roshan and ward parts.

I actually saw a tower target a catapult before a veno ward (well, it actually switched between the two targets, hit catapult, changed to ward, hit catapult again, kind of weird), so there might be a bug with agroing, however I don't have any concrete evidence.
