  • [Unconfirmed] Leech Seed and on another note, Pudge's Rot

So I can't seem to prove this, and I may be just seeing things.

But my memory tells me that Icefrog had changed Leech Seed in one of the more recent patches, to "continue healing allies even when the target is dead".

I only mentioned the Pudge Rot because I remember back when Puppey used that + smoke to jungle with Pudge, "abusing" the rot and smoke interaction with creeps on a stacked high tier camp, and people called it, well, abusing. I tried desperately after to find the changelog where I read you make the change to Pudge's rot, something along the lines of "extend the effect of the rot a short duration after the rot is cancelled", which is why rot had this extended-lasting effect for almost a full second where it did full damage, when rot was consistently being cancelled. I recall this to be the case because I used this in public games.

I don't think I'm seeing things, and I remember this pudge example so clearly, everyone was telling me I was seeing things and it was a bug but I knew it was intended at first. I'm simply using it to back up my case, I could be wrong and my mind could be playing tricks on me, or my eyes may just see what they want to see, but I quite clearly recall that the Treant Protector's leech seed was in fact buffed to have this lasting effect of healing allies even when the target dies.

Any moderator or Icefrog response would be appreciated.

I do not recall any version of leech seed that continued to heal after target is dead.

As for pudge's rot, Rot dealing damage for a full second even if you cancelled it was a bug. It was not intended and has since been fixed.

Leech seed not stopping was part of a "leaked" 6.75 changelog.

The 'leaked' changelog was a fake, despite how much media attention it garnered.

            I know, that's why I said "leaked".
