  • Lanaya's refraction

Let's say TA has 6 instances of refraction on her. She gets hit with 1 stack of level 1 napalm then stands in level 1 firefly for 1 second.

    1. How many instances does she lose?

    2. Will things be any different if the levels of napalm/firefly were higher?

1.i think firefly damages 2 times every second(aka 0.5 sec interval), so 2 instances lost

      But what about napalm damage?

        1. She should lose 2.

        2. Actually, yes, if Napalm is higher level. (unless I fudged something up below)

Like Eric said, Firefly damages twice each second, while napalm adds an additional damage instance per instance of damage from Firefly. Note that the damage increase from napalm for Firefly only is halved, so level 1 Napalm adds 5 damage per Firefly damage instance (every 0.5 secs), for a total of 10 extra damage per stack per second of Firefly.

However, it still only removes two charges, because refraction does not lose a charge when receiving 5 damage or less. So lvl 1 napalm does not remove charges. That being said....

        - If there are two stacks or more of level 1 napalm, then 1 second of Firefly will remove 4 charges. Napalm stacks always add only 1 more damage instance, so two stacks will deal 1 extra damage instance of 10, for each instance of Firefly.

-One or more stacks of level 2-4 napalm will result in 4 charges lost per second of Firefly. Again, doesn't matter how many stacks, napalm only ever adds one more damage instance.

-One or more stacks of any level of napalm will result in the total loss of two charges per any other damage instance from Batrider, other than Firefly. This is because level 1 napalm applies 10 extra damage (1 stack) for all other valid damage instances. 1 charge for the triggering damage instance, and another charge from napalm.
