It can be broken by shadowblade, Juggernaut's bladefury and several other abilities, probably up past a second after the ice has appeared. So it seems to act like a channeled ability and is trivial to avoid but the spell doesn't say its channeled.

Blink and Metamorphosis-based skills cannot be used while under the effect of Frostbite(except for Phantom Strike).
Units that turn invisible while Frostbite is active are still revealed to Rylai's team for its duration.
That's how it should works, can you do test if Shadowblade removes Frostibite?
As far as I know Jugg becomes magic immune with Bladefury so he may remove Frostbite debuff.Originally posted by NooSo you're creating a guild inside a Valve game dedicated to boycotting Valve?

Currently ensnares and entangles do not silence transformation skills as they should, however that's been previously reported.
Bladefury can and should remove frostbite (think of it as a special ensnare, it holds them in place and disarms them, that is all. It does not stop them from rotating or casting spells, INCLUDING orb skills such as glaives of wisdom).

just to make sure everyone knows the difference between ensnare and frostbite this :
Frostbite = Magic buff
Ensnare = Physical Buff
thing that removes Frosbite = going Magic Immune (naix rage, jugger's bladefury, etc)
thing that removes Ensnare = going Physical Immune (ethereal blade, ghost scepter, decrepify, etc)
(more info check my over nine thousand sig)
that's all about debuffing those abilities, about casting other abilities wyn and the others have pointed outTesting bugs between DOTA 2 and DotA - No Test Client

The reason I thought it was a bug is that I don't think bladefury breaks it after its "channeled".If you think I've closed or deleted a post unjustified, feel free to PM me and I'll explain it to you/discuss it with you further.

Frostbite, overgrowth=entangles
Naga net, troll net, meepo net, sylla root=ensnares
Entangles are magical buffs, they should be removed by magic immunity/cyclone/mirror image/purge
Ensnares are physical buffs, they should be removed by physical immunity (ethereal)/cyclone/mirror image
These are buggy as hell in dota 2 (see my thread about them) and we'll just have to wait for valve to fix them.

I think you have done something wrong there... You shouldn't be able to escape with a Shadow Blade.

This thread can be closed, what peterius implies on the original post is [Intended] for the Blade Fury and [Incorrect] for the Shadow Blade.
Please, at least check once again before someone objects your claim and you want to insist on your claim... next time.
