    When melee heroes can make the final hit on a fleeying victim, why do they gain +200 range suddenly? Looks weird..

    This is called Motion Range Buffer in Warcraft 3, I have no idea if the term was kept for DotA 2 but it is essentially a value that determines how far away from the attacking units max range the target may run before the attack is cancelled. In DotA 1 the common motion range buffer value was 250 range.

    Moved to Mechanics & Gameplay Bug Brainstorming.
