  • [Intended?]Razor's Eye of the Storm has no cap for its negative Armor on one Hero

In DotA 1 there is a cap of 31 negative armor and resets afterwards
In Dota 2 it is limitless

What I'm curious about is if it negates +armor then because it stacks so high. That would be the bug.
-21 (20?) armor is the lowest you can have in Dota, any lower and it doesn't do anything more.

You realize units can have 25 armor and then get hit by a -40 armor?

~-20 is the lowest you can have in DotA 1 for it to actually do anything. In dota 2 it works differently (inverse of positive armour to be precise), anyway it's probably just overflow or something. I'm sure imxtrabored can look into the JASS for you :P

          Did someone call?
The negative armor caps at -31 because:
          1. Buffs with different IDs stack.
          2. Otherwise, the same buff wouldn't stack.

In DotA 1, the negative armor system used for Eye of the Storm (similar to the system used for Ancestral Spirit) is that there's multiple -armor buffs with different IDs:
          -1
          -2
          -4
          -8
          -16
Using these debuffs in various combinations can create any -armor effect from -1 to -31. If he wanted to, Icefrog could probably simply create another -armor debuff for -32, increasing the cap to -63. As for if this a deliberate design/balance choice or simply a "no one is ever going to need more than -31 armor on this spell", your guess is as good as mine.

Yeah. So it's overflow then So I'd say intended too.
