Pudge hook

afaik, it works almost the same. The difference is very minimal. You can't curve the hook or force yourself but that is likely intended. You can still move a bit if the hook goes for a certain distance as the pause has a max duration slightly lower than the time it takes for the hook to travel all the way out and back in.

i can't believe they still did nothing about this, after all this time...

I just hope that the small group of pudge addicts is big enough for them to do something about it
well the last time i complained about a hero (twice actually) it got changed within the next update (in this case it was the total outdated Axe)

This needs to be fixed. Pudge's Dismember Casting Point is too high if he is paused that long.
What we need is lower pause time on Pudge OR lower Casting Point of Dismember. In it's current state every hero can stun or blink or windwalk out of a perfectly done hook+dismember combo without dismember being used. Being unpaused only when the target arrives while still having this ungodly long casting point of Dismember is too harsh of a nerf for a hero very rarely picked in competitive eventhough he's a fan favourite.

and another thing, it would not only improve pudge but make him more depended on skill since u have to care to not run accidently into the wrong direction

To be able to move while hooking and making the target follow you would be to easy to abuse with i.e turning around and make both yourself and teammate(s) force staff you or just by getting tp'd by ezalor. The only thing i dislike at this point is that force staff-hooks is not working the same way as in dota 1.
I don't find it to be real problem. It seems more logical that you are able to move after the hook reaches maximum range.
Also, I notice some kind backswing animation that is done after the hook is back. IMO, it's better to be removed.

Personally I really like it because it adds some extra depth to his hooking and it really feels boss. However it will probably not be implemented in Dota 2 as this is Pudge we're talking about.
