  • How is Refresher's and Static Link work together?

After seeing that Refresher's Aghs Razor video, I decided to go mess around with it in a private game.

I'm not sure if this is how it's SUPPOSED to work, but here's what happened when I used it:

Razor can Static Link an enemy, use Refresher, and if he tries to Static Link another hero, he ends up stealing damage from the same hero (and the duration of Static Link is increased based on whenever he continued using it). So he basically can only steal from one target if he uses Refresher Static Link.

If Razor uses Static Link on an enemy for the full duration, refreshes, and then uses Static Link (after the stealing part of the first one is over), then he loses all the damage he had stolen (which should've stayed for an additional few seconds, I think), and the counter resets. The same happens to the target.

Here's a screen cap of his damage if he overlaps the two Static Links on the same target (it doesn't always reach 448; it depends on when the second static link was used since the damage counter continues off wherever the first one ended):

Anyone know for sure how it's supposed to work? I don't really know how to test stuff in Dota 1 without having a buddy, so I haven't tried.

Several instances should stack independently. But I think someone's posted it before - I remember someone having like 1000 damage stolen (or something like that) because it kept refreshing.
