just look.. ther's a missing tree that makes the diference in nooby players and the ones that know how to do it

    dota 1 noob.jpg
    dota 1 pro.jpg
    dota 2 no tree.jpg

this one on btm give to much vision... in dota 1 you have to pay more attention to the neutral creep missing dota 2 you just see the hero on the map neutraling..

I'm pretty sure this is intended, I know it sounds like it's been dumbed down but it's been like that for a while, I don't think they woulda missed a small but crucial detail like that.

      y bring wc3 limitations to DotA2?
Innovate, this is not going to be a WC3 with better graphics, but yes a proper DotA as it intend to be.

I don't really think this is a necessary part of the game. Competitive players will simply look up where to ward. It's not a matter of skill, beyond the level of play where it matters.

in my opinion both should be changed like in dota 1! the second spot is really gamebreaking in my opinion, because it need mor attention of the players!

There is also the place near top rune on radiant side near the couple of trees on middle ground that isn't possible to ward in dota 2, yet is possible in dota 1.

Never got why there is a tree in DotA anyway but it does not really matter for me anyway. The second thing u mentioned should stay cause it makes this spot more useful to ward, it wasn't really used much.

1st of all this not a limitation as was said earlier
2nd it is basically catering to newbs although its ok its not good in the long run.

i think dota 2 is becoming a more noobs allowed game..

In DotA 1, you place a ward on one side of a tree and you can't see behind it... but place it on the other side of the tree and you can see up a hill and behind the tree no problem. This is not about pro or noob, it's about failed LOS in the WC3 engine.

So you learned an illogical ward placement gives the wanted vision, so did I back in the day. Now let's remove these unintuitive flaws for DotA 2.

What about that cliff at the bottom lane of the Dire base (near base entrance), you were able to ward that in DotA.. can't do it in Dota 2 because there's no damn cliff there just some rock..
