Forum Rules

    I confirm this.

    Just tested with a hero and dropped items around the interior of the camp. They cannot be seen from the exterior.
    He's the hero this community deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt his identity, because he can take it, because he's not our hero. He's a silent buffer, a watchful nerfer. An IceFrog.

        This is a more serious issue, it does not allow the double stack reducing the farming potential of some heroes.

          a few versions ago, you could see too much through the trees (not just when standing near the gaps). they changed it, to no vision through treegaps on requests (1, 2). i thought this was just a temporary solution.
          but apparently icefrog stated the following:

            We don't need this. It's such a minor thing, just eat the tree obv. It's an unimportant WC3 engine relict. The current vision system in DotA2 regarding trees is finally perfect, don't change it again.

                How can you call the ability to do 2 pulls at the same time with 1 hero a minor thing? It is a very important factor that differentiates pros from noobs and fast farmers in the jungle against slow ones.

                  Well, I can still do 2 pulls at the same time with a Quelling Blade/ Tango.

                  Consider this a tradeoff for being able to Smoke jungle with Storm, Pugna, Shadow Demon, and more

                      Oh yeah, what a great idea, that alter the pull completely since if I have say 3 stacks on each camp the camps will block each other making the pull impossible. Or if I want summons to do the pull which is quite common to do then I just can't double pull with them, there are aspects of sentinel's jungling that change with this, which reduces the GPM at higher levels, whether you like it or not is different.

                      Also it is the fact that you can check the camp from that spot, check if someone is using that spot or anything whatsoever.

                        for all those neat tricks, you mentioned you need to stand directly in front of the trees.
                        you cant tell me, that you and your summons are stacking creeps before your hero passes the desired spot at least once.
                        just bring 1 tango for roughly 30 gold and destroy the tree.

                        if you really want a remake of the wc3 fog of war - tree interaction, you are also asking for tons of glitches and tons of overhead for the dota 2 development.
