  • Suggestion: Markings for Neutral Creep Respawn Area

    Hi dota devs,

Could it be possible to mark out the area of neutral creep respawns that would be blocked by units/wards etc?

This will allow less mistakes with ward blocking/counterwarding, as well as accidentally blocking your own camps by standing too close.

It could be as subtle as changing the grass colour or different terrain.

    Thanks

Only thing they should do is make the magic bush an actual bush like in DotA 1. People who don't know about the magic bush will just think it's a random bush so it's not like it would take skill out of it.

Why? So players who are more experienced or know the areas can keep it hush-hush from newer players? If you're skilled enough to know where it is, there's no change. There's no reason to make experienced players feel privilaged at the expense of newer players.

-1. If you have vision of where the creeps normally stand, they won't spawn. It doesn't need to be marked out, nor should it be except perhaps in tutorial mode or something...

Don't spread this common misconception. Wards block creep camps because they count as units in the spawn area, you can observe a camp spawn if the ward is outside the spawn area.

If it can be made to not look awkward on the existing terrain I'm all for it.

A ward spot in the Radiant jungle which blocks a large camp and the pull camp.

Valve should implement this at Training Area: Warding, not in the matches.
If Valve pretends to create tutorials on learning Dota2, this would be very cool on warding tutorial.
