  • which NVIDIA drivers are best with my graphic card for dota?

maybe we can have such a thread in which people can post their graphic card in order to find out which version of the nvidia drivers are best (= usually fastest; maybe less buggy/better looking if such a thing applies) for their card. I guess many people dont want to experiment with their drivers all the time and are glad when they have found a version which is running fine.

    so I got a GTX 760M and am using 327.23 WHQL. 30-40 fps @1080p.

how are the 331.40 beta drivers? anyone experiencing problems with those? or somewhat noticable performance improvements compared to the latest WHQL?

I am using Nvidia GTX 670m (3GB) with 331.40 beta driver and i play with high 1080p with 60~70 FPS. Yup there is a bit performance improvements over the WHQL driver. Like in when there is a team fight fps used to go down real bad like around 40 but now it stays at 60 ~70 all the time.

has anyone tried drivers 331.82 WHQL and 331.93 BETA (non sly setup)? Ive been using 331.65 and they have been the best drivers for dota so far. is one of the newer drivers worth updating?

My drivers are from the end of 2011 and they give me 60fps and look great in every game. Dota is not a game that requires anything special on the graphics front.

well I guess your graphic card might be just as old then too? because otherwise youd use drivers for a card which has not yet been developed at that point and therefore drivers might lack a bit of performance for your card.

since my card (geforce gtx 760m) isnt that old, I cant go that far back.

wouldnt it choose the latest driver anyway for most of the time? doing otherwise would indicate too often to the users that new drivers do suck, that might be counter-productive for nvidia.
