          What is your problem exactly?

The kbps display should never be 0, as that would indicate no game data being transferred to/from the game server, which would be incompatible with how DOTA 2 client/server-side communication works.

I regularly have 80-120 kbps, which is very normal for a game like DOTA 2, that sends data to the server and from the server to the client for things like fog, player location etc..

Demo mode should be local lobby, so naturally it should always be 0.

Well this natural case doesn't happen to a lot of us experiencing the same issue. http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=279342

The KBPS is clearly related to the input delay. it's fine if the number actually showed the data transfer and not something else. as an example when watching live games the kbps goes up to 5k but the data actually transferring is around 200 to 300.

There have been tons of threads and reddit posts about it and they all point to the same thing. The increase in kbps causes a huge and sporadic input delay whether playing online or offline.

And the issue for this guy seems to have returned the day after. So I would assume it has something to do with network settings from valve's side.

Oh and depending on how long you've been playing this game and sensitive you are to input delay you might or might not feel the delay caused by that 100 kbps that you say is being transferred. when playing a game the actual data being transferred is around 300 kbps actually so it seems to me you have the same problem unless you don't experience high kbps in demo mode / offline lobbies
