Forum Rules

    You need to understand that this it's a Windows feature.
    It requires FULLSCREEN video mode selected in Dota 2,
    in NATIVE res,
    and without troubleshooting options like -nod3d9ex, -safe, -autoconfig and whatever crap you might have added there.

    Borderless fullscreen it's actually a troubleshooting mode, and has it's side-effects (and less performance).

    This still a problem. And if you alt-tab and a game is found, no flashing dota on taskbar.

    ....ive kinda solved this for me.. ive had put one time dota 2 in full screen then in windowed again .. Dota2 is allways on taskbar now

    Pretty annoying, Borderless windows 1080p here. Sometimes it's there, sometimes it isn't. Could a Windows 8 issue.

    Straight up mate, this is more likely an issue with Windows 8 itself. Even if it is something with Dota 2 itself, I very much doubt you'll find a lot of support for Windows 8 with it.

    I can confirm that this is still a thing, after todays Windows update. Investigate please. Not an insane issue, but mildly annoying.
