  • Dota2 doesn't support GTX 690?

    Hello,

    When i try to type something in the chat all the text on the screen keep blinking on and off and sometimes i see weird white lines on the screen, how to fix it?

    My pc:

    Intel Core i7-3970X Extreme Edition

    NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 690

    ASUS Rampage IV Extreme LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard

    HARD DRIVE 3 TB 7200 RPM SATA 3Gb/s

    OPERATING SYSTEM Windows 7 , 64Bit

    MEMORY 16GB (2 X 8GB) Quad Channel DDR3 at 1600MHz

    yup thats coz ur vsync is off. Your graphic card is processing way faster than your monitor. So turn on ur vsync ... if its on then try making ur overclock of ur graphic card back to normal ... if none of this helps try changing ur settings in ur nvidia control panel for dota 2 game. good luck.

      lol my vsync is on but i just turned it off and now its working fine haha u fail sir but gave me a clue so.. thank you.

            fps_max 120 net_graph 1 and check if its always on 120

                    Type -console in the start up paramters, then type these commands in the console.
