  • Low performance after Lifestealer patch.

Okay. The game has been running fine for me on max settings, pretty much always above 50 fps at all times.

After today's patch my performance took a huge hit and now it runs at 30-
Not sure what could've caused it but I figure posting it here would be wise.

I'm having the same issue. I would get ~45FPS ish prior to the patch, but after the patch i only run at around 30.

My system is i7 2630QM/540M/4GB of RAM.

I am aware that the settings were resetted, but after changing them back to what I had (vsync off, ambient off) I still have the same problem.

Our computers are similar, only mine is a 550m and I have 6 gigs of RAM.

Hm, explains why you get about 5 more fps than I do. Haha.

Significant decrease of performance, dropped from stable 60 FPS to 40 FPS. Visual settings are set to lowest possible. Setting them on high gives out ~30+ FPS

Do you have a desktop or laptop? I'm assuming desktop because you can mantain 120 fps.

It seems that most mobile/low-end users are receiving this performance decrease post-naix-patch.

After looking through another thread someone mentioned this command to put in your launch options. "-nod3d9ex" without the quotations. It returned my Fps to normal for the time being. hope this helps others.

The game has been sluggish and my fps dropped after the patch, what happened Valve?
and not to mention the graphic sucks too even at Max Settings.

I really think valve should make the game to require less resources. Most of the PCs here are from the future , and yet can't still run the game smoothly.
