  • Vsync doesn't stay off

Just what the title says. I turn vsync off every game, but it always turns back on.

Do you have an autoexec file with settings in it?

Yes, but the only setting I have is turning FPS display and right-click auto-attack on.

Check out if it's not your control panel that forces it on.

For now, turn it off in your autoexec.cfg and bind a key to "execute autoexec.cfg" and just press the key when starting a game.

If you somehow set your default config file to read only it would also cause that.

I'm having the same issue as the OP. i'm constantly finding myself needing to reset my brightness AND my vsync setting.

EDIT: it looks like the settings reset EVERY TIME i join a game (to play OR spectate). Definitely not an issue with just launching the game, as i've added mat_vsync 0 to my launch options. When I join a game, this value is reset to 1.
