  • Cursor size issue when using an in-game resolution different from desktop resolution.

My monitor's native resolution is 3200x1800, but I play dota at a lower resolution to keep my FPS at a playable level.

Alt tabbing away from the game, and back, results in the cursor becoming unusably small. Going into the options menu to tick and then un-tick the "Automatically choose cursor size." option returns the cursor to my preset size.

In order to have a cursor at an appropriate size, I use the manual cursor size slider and set it to 100%. Leaving the auto size box ticked results in a cursor that is more than double the standard size. I'm guessing that maybe this option is checking the system resolution, instead of the game's resolution setting.

I would love to have this fixed because I do often alt tab out of the game to check matchup and item information on dotabuff, especially when I'm learning a new hero...
