  • [BUG] Flickering / Vibrating Hero models [Bug around since June 20th]

Hey, with the Rubick patch, which was released June 20th, a bug came up which caused model animations to appear fast forwarded, as you can see in this video:

Hero models which are bugged (could be more):

    Huskar - hair
    Lich - chain
Naga Siren - head and tail
    Razor - coat
    Rubick - coat and staff
    Storm Spirit - electric vortex
Keeper of the Light - cloak
    Witch Doctor - staff

I just love you. Really, no, I love you.

7 more ruined heroes. Oh boy, is it going to be fun to play knowing that.

Fix that, Volvo, I beg of you.
Heroes this user should seriously reconsider ever picking again.

Same bug. V-Sync off seems to slightly resolve this issue, but screen tearing is in play then.

        Allright, an update.

Running game in Borderless Window seems to resolve issue. Additionally, it doesn't seem to disable V-Sync, so both error and screen tearing are not problem. Now, why does this happen at Fullscreen with V-Sync on and not in Borderless Window at same resolution with V-Sync on or Fullscreen with V-Sync off ?

I can confirm that one, not sure if there is a very minor flickering left though, could be my imagination.

Interesting... though I must say, the flickering coat has become to me a trademark of Rubick and I personally like it. It fits his character!

Hey thought id just add what I know about this glitch.

I have the Geforce 560ti gfx card and have suffered from this bug for as long as I can remember now.
Its absolutely horrendous to see in game and really ruins my enjoyment of playing a lot of my favourite heroes.

Also I figured out today if you use the command fps_max 58 it seems to completely fix the problem but then when I pan the camera across the map I get allot of screen tearing and stuttering... which for me at least is not acceptable for playing.

Really hope this gets fixed soon

you can add medusa to this.

when not moving, her tail is vibrating sort of like rubicks robe.
